People who are looking for a portable player (DAP) now have a new consideration. FiiO recently released the FiiO M6 – a Android-based music player.

Great News for Apple Users

iOS users have limited choices with their wireless audio formats such as LDAC / HWA / aptX HD. But with the M6, users can beam their music to M6 via Airplay and still support songs in excellent quality.

Bluetooth Format for Truly Lossless Playback

The M6 comes with *dual-mode Bluetooth 4.2* and supports every high-res format, including 24-bit aptX HD and HWA Hi-RES Bluetooth audio.

FiiO Link

Instead of using the M6 player as a control for your music, M6 now has this new feature, FiiO Link. You are able to control your music experience fully from your phone.

Where to Buy

They are currently retailing for USD$179.99. You can check out the full details at the official M6 product page or purchase them straight from their official Aliexpress store or Amazon store.

  1. What’s the maximum number of tracks that the M6 can handle in its database? Using a 512GB SD card is fine, but if the database can only handle 20,000 tracks then the large storage capacity is essentially pointless
