Once you’ve found the perfect name, changing your playlist name on Spotify is easy. Here’s a guide to walk you through how to update your playlist name on both Spotify mobile and desktop.

Not every playlist is editable. Only the playlist owner can modify the name of their playlist.

How to Change Playlist Name on Spotify Mobile

  1. Open the Spotify app and go to the ‘Your Library’ tab.
  2. Tap on the playlist you want to change the name of.
  3. Tap on the three dots below the current playlist name.
