Chris Golembeski
Chris Golembeski is the Audio Writer for Headphonesty. A graduate of an audio engineering school in NYC, Chris brings a decade of experience in recording and mixing with DAWs. His professional journey led him to work at the renowned EastSide Sound Studio in lower Manhattan.
Transitioning to the HiFi scene, Chris approached it with the precision of an audio engineer, a perspective that resonates in his writings. He's contributed innumerable headphone, IEM, DAC, and amplifier reviews for platforms like MajorHiFi and Audio46. His depth of knowledge also extends to explainer pieces on diverse audio concepts for Status Audio’s The Journal. Additionally, his expertise can be viewed in self-produced videos on MajorHiFi’s YouTube channel.
Chris's tryst with headphones began as a practical solution in the confined spaces of NYC apartments. This necessity soon evolved into a passion, diving deep into the audio world beyond the confines of popular brands like Beyerdynamic DT-770, a journey he fondly refers to as opening "Pandora's Box."
